It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.
And this is becoming a growing problem, I think, because n

Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?

Hey there people! It's *maakurinohime here to tell you guys about the newest contest.

So for the theme this time its:

Holiday Games!

For this contest the idea is to focus on groups of the dragonball z characters.

Where to submit:

The contest folder is now available to submit your entries in for the contest whether it be literature or fanart.

Please remember that the contest folder is strictly for the contest entries.

Deadline:

I am giving a one week extension for the contest. I'm glad that we've had 4 entries so far and more people have coming and wanting to enter. So i will give anyone else that wants to enter, one week, meaning January 7th at midnight you have to enter into the contest. I hope that we'll get to see more from people! Good luck and happy holidays.

With Halloween, thanksgiving, christmas and new years all coming near here in the US-I know of some people and families that have games they do when the families and friends arrive. So how about we have everyone draw or write about the DBZ fighters and families during the holidays playing some type of games.

Whether it be for example: Bobbing for apples in halloween outfits, nerf gun fights in Capsule Corp during a x-mas eve party or a snowboarding contest in the mountains by Goku's house. (You may not use these examples, but do let your creativity have fun with this one!

)

We would prefer the pictures in color or fully pencil shaded. It is not necessary though. If you have the extra time, please take it. It can be a painting, digital, traditional or a comic.
